Book Review

Kevin Trudeau, the #1 New York Times Bestselling Author and well known consumer advocate, has done it again by delivering another great book with helpful suggestions. Free Money "They" Don't Want You To Know About published by Equity Press in 2009 is an excellent expert resource guide as a "cheat sheet" for understanding a variety of methods for locating free money. Most of his suggestions are quick and online - very helpful.

This book is packed with sound easy-to-follow advice that explains the variety of ways a person can quickly locate free money. Each chapter covers a different method and is like receiving cliff notes, abridged version, for the "how to do." Examples: Chapter 1 covers the explanation of a diversity of programs that give away billions to people who apply and qualify for them. Chapter 2 is filled with where to go online and offline to locate unclaimed assets like misplaced US Savings bonds.

This book covers numerous possibilities regarding how to obtain free money, including monetary saving techniques that honestly put more money in your own pocket. Everything mentioned in Free Money "They" Don't Want You To Know About is perfectly legal.

Highly recommend placing this fabulous financial reference book alongside Kevin Trudeau's Debt Cures "They" Don't Want You to Know About like I have on my office's bookshelf. Both of these well written in plain English "must read" books are a "must have" for any at-home library. They are the type of non-fiction books you will continuously catch yourself pulling off the shelf and using as a reference tool like I do.

Enjoy!

Interesting. I've not read these, but did meet Kevin Trudeau when I was in his downline (in a network marketing program) some years back. I doubt we'd ever be cut out to hang out together per se, but there's one VERY good thing about him: He's absolutely unafraid to tell it like it is.

Federal prison? No fear; he's already been there, done that. (Credit card fraud conviction back in the day, if memory serves--but he did his time, a couple of years, and has kept it straight ever since as far as I know.)

Voted Up and Useful.

That was an interesting way to advertise a book in the form of a a Hub article, which makes me wonder how much you actually wrote yourself, or did you get the Free Cut and Paste Guide to Writing also.

What exactly is 'perfectly legal'?

Is there such a thing as imperfectly legal?

This is only the second hub I have every voted down, that was truly pathetic!

I wrote this book review all by myself, every word. I read the books listed in this review, every page. I enjoy writing book reviews to share my reading interests. Thank you for reading my hub and for your unique comment. The term "perfectly legal" is a legal term meaning completely legal. Good to hear from you Somethgblue. :D

I should have told you why I didn't like it . . .

1. Too Short!

2. If you had read it you could share with us one easy way in which we all can attempt one of his ideas, you don't have to give away anything but let's get real, your article read like Ad Commentary.

3. No alternative source . . . is he the only person in the Universe that writes books of this nature?

4. Do any of his ideas work . . . have you tried them?

5. It wasn't a book review it was an advertisement, your list of books are all his. Tell us why we should give one of his books a try . . . what are his qualifications?

6. If I want to find about Mr. Trudeau I will Google him because I sure didn't learn anything from your article.

I hope this explains where I'm coming from.

Somthgblue, thank you for sharing where you were coming from, that is much appreciated. I too wish to clarify. I was not trying to share about Kevin Trudeau, the person or author. I was sharing the Free Money book I had read from cover to cover. I used the Free Money book while writing the article to make certain the highlights I had in the Hub were accurate. I kept the hub short on purpose. I only review books I have written in their entirety. I tried what was in the Free Money book that I qualified for; I did receive a positive result. No, Kevin Trudeau is not the only one who has written books about Alternative Health Measures, Weight-Loss and Financial Advice. There are many other authors that have written similar. My goal was to share the Free Money book without giving away any spoilers. Anyway, I do not write to please all; no author does. I am grateful for your thoughtful comment. This way everyone can see diversity on HubPages. :D
